The Senior Lead, Data Engineer’s role in Customer & Commercial Applications is to design and build solutions that foster customer relations and field data collection in the Coca-Cola System. S/He will be responsible for processing user requirements coming from Product Owners into new modules for existing applications or developing new applications himself/herself or jointly with other members of the regional and Global Development Centers. The development required will include building interfaces for field-based associates data collection, data transfer and storage, approval workflows using a combination of React / Angular / Django web dev frameworks with Azure-hosted Postgres SQL and similar technologies for data storage. All the assigned tasks will be scoped appropriately to the knowledge level of the Developer, with support from senior team members and time allocated for further professional training. S/He will be expected to follow Agile practices while developing solutions.

What You’ll Do for Us:

  • Leading a team of 3 engineers.

  • Working with Product Owners and Business Analysts to understand business data and related processes.

  • Using Agile and Dev/Ops methods, building applications for a variety of business processes supporting field work (customer action lists, image data collection, approvals, etc);

  • Designing, building and deploying the mobile and web-based application front ends facilitating field work.

  • Designing, building, and deploying databases, data stores and APIs to facilitate collected data processing by the data teams.

  • Participating in cross-functional teams to promote technology strategies, analyzing, and testing products, performing proofs-of-concept, and piloting new technologies and/or methods.

  • Establishing and documenting standards, guidelines, and best practices for teams utilizing the solutions.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Software Engineering or a related field.

  • 4-6 years of working experience and demonstrated skills in working with abovementioned technologies is required

  • Good written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work with geographically diverse teams via collaborative technologies

  • Good knowledge and proven experience of one of mobile/web development frameworks – Angular/ReactJS/Django and data storage (Azure PostgreSQL and similar)

  • Proven desire and ability to learn on-the-job
